We Want You To Join Team Novella!

What it’s like to work with us, basically.

What it’s like to work with us, basically.

We’ve been doing big things here at Novella — from our monthly salons and panels, to our newsletter and The Stacks, we’re proud that the first year of Novella has been about providing a safe space for all women to tell their unique stories.

But tbh, there’s a lot more we wanna do. And we often hear from you that you want to help.

So, we’re currently looking to bring on a couple talented new team members to help spread the Novella mission.

We’ll be upfront with you — Novella is a totally bootstrapped, WOC-owned business that’s 100% run by volunteers. Although these roles are currently unpaid, we try our best to repay our team’s loyalty in the form of career-boosting titles and experience, connecting them to paid opportunities and networking whenever possible, free access to all Novella events (no more scrambling to RSVP), the occasional karaoke night, and of course, the warm-fuzzy feeling of helping this thing grow. (Our group chats are pretty lit, too.)

Our wish list for the perfect Partnership Assistant, Editorial Assistant, and Social Media Editor are below. If you believe in Novella’s mission of empowering all women to tell their stories, have 5 hours a week to spare, and are looking to gain experience and mentorship directly from our leadership team of rad WOC, we’re a pretty cool place to be.

We can’t wait to learn more about you!
